Read about TVS Star bike review. TVS Star motorcycle is a top-end motorcycle in India.
The TVS Star is TVS' entry-level
bike that challenges the dominance of the Bajaj
CT 100 in the economy-segment. The Star is equipped
with a four-stroke, air-cooled, single cylinder
engine that generates a displacement of 99.7cc.
The engine produces a peak power of 7.5 bhp at 7500
rpm and a maximum torque of 7.5 Nm at 5500 rpm.
The TVS Star sports minimalist style in line with its commuter-bike status. The robust 16-litre fuel tank gives the Star a muscular look but poor quality switchgear and the lack of rear fairing are definite put-offs.
On the suspension front, the Star uses single-spine frame and telescopic forks as front suspension and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Presence of a box-section swingarm and the longer 1250mm wheelbase facilitate a comfortable and stable riding.
