2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Launched At Rs 7.44 Lakh
The long-awaited Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been released in the Indian market with both petrol and diesel engine options. The second-gen Ertiga has been positioned from Rs 7.44 Lakh for the base petrol to Rs 10.90 Lakh for the top-spec diesel variant (ex-showroom).

Underpinned from the Heartect platform, the next-gen Ertiga MPV is 10-20kg lighter than its predecessor. It will get 4,395 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,690 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,740 mm. Exterior-wise, the Maruti Ertiga delivers a new design language making a better-looking vehicle in comparison with the outgoing model. It gets a major revision in styling design with projector headlamps, a new set of boomerang-shaped LED taillamps, 15” alloy wheels (on range-topping model). The vehicle comes to offer five exterior colour options including white, silver, grey, red and blue.

Moving to the cabin layout, the highly commendable MPV of Maruti Suzuki Motors offers a plethora of up-to-date features providing the highest comfort and versatile feelings. The 2018 Maruti Ertiga trims are positioned at around Rs 7.44 Lakh to Rs 10.90 Lakh
Powering the new Ertiga by an all-new 1.5-litre petrol engine, the 2018 Maruti Ertiga is good for 105 hp at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm units at 4,400 rpm. The powertrain also includes an optional 1.3-litre diesel motor that generates 90 hp of max power and 200 Nm of peak torque at 4,400 rpm and 1,750 rpm, respectively. The mills are mated to a 5-speed manual with a 4-speed torque automatic converter available in the petrol variant.
The delivery of the all-new Ertiga will be started at the end of November. The MPV will be retailed via Arena dealerships and take on the Mahindra Marazzo, Renault Lodgy in India.
