2019 Honda Civic Reveals Sketch

Ahead of the Tokyo Auto Salon 2019, the Japanese auto manufacturer, Honda has been working crossover-inspired concept for the Civic hatchback. 

Recently, Honda has teased the sketch of the Civic Versatilist concept based on the Civic hatchback design language. As a result, the car is likely to come with several notable crossover cues. It is easy to see from the sketch, the new model of Honda will offer some outstanding features including 

• White cladding along the lower edge

• Flared wheel-arches

• Raised ride height

• Sleek doors with no visible door handle

• Fin-like elements on the front doors

• Slim vents in front of the wheel arches

The car model might come with some notable crossover cues

In terms of mechanical details, Honda has not yet revealed any specific information related to the new Civic. Therefore, the new car model has not been confirmed to enter production or remain the predecessor’s concept. 

In the near future, in the Indian market, Honda still stay focus on the Civic sedan body type first. The car will set to be launched in February 2019. The car will be available with 2 engine options which are

• 1.8-litre petrol with 140hp output

• 1.6-litre diesel engine with 120hp output

The petrol variants are likely to be available in the manual or automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the diesel version is only be offered with manual merely.
