2019 Maruti Baleno Might Launch on 27 January

Maruti Suzuki Baleno is likely to make its debut on the 27th of this January. The pre-bookings has been unofficially accepted from Rs.11 lakh.

As per a report released recently, Maruti Suzuki might set the plan to launch its Maruti Suzuki Baleno on this 27th January. Several dealerships have started opening the pre-bookings from the price at Rs.11 lakh.

Since the first time to be introduced at the world premiere at IAA 2015, the Baleno has had its presence at Indian market for over three years. As a result, this is high time for the mid-cycle update. According to the report, the manufacturer has scheduled to update the Baleno with several cosmetic tweaks. Some leaked spy shots have already revealed the refresh.

The Maruti Suzuki was the first time to be introduced at the world premiere at IAA 2015

Particularly, regarding the front look, this flagship hatchback from Maruti will be offered with

  • New chrome upper grille accent

  • New front bumper with pronounced outer ends

  • New lower air intake and repositioned fog lamps

Notably, the new LED projector headlamps can replace the halogen projector headlamps which are now available in Alpha and Zeta grades.

There are some cosmetic changes in 2019 facelift version

On the side profile, the new hatchback will have 16-inch machined alloy wheels along with tweaked tail lamps. 

Regarding, the interior is expected to be covered with an all-black theme, which is similar to the predecessor, but maybe with new highlights and trims.

For the safety package, there is still no detailed information leaked. However, Maruti Suzuki will likely to bring on the front passenger SBR as well as speed alert system on the standard fitments.

Regarding performance, the new Maruti Baleno hatchback receives the same engine option like the outgoing model, which are 

  • The K12M 1.2-litre petrol engine 

  • The D13A 1.3-litre diesel engine

In which, the petrol engine can produce 62 kW (84.30 PS) and 115 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged diesel engine can generate 55.2 kW (75.05 PS) and 190 Nm. 

For the price, as the report of Maruti price hike released recently in IndianAuto, the Maruti Baleno was not out of the list. The range starts at Rs. 5.41 and goes up to a whop Rs. 8.53 now (Ex.showroom Delhi).
