[Celebrity Cars Collection] All about Salman Khan's luxurious cars collection

Since his first appearance three decades ago on August 26, 1988, in the movie 'Biwi Ho To Aisi', Salman Khan, known as 'Bhai' to his dedicated fans, has been one of the biggest stars in Bollywood. Salman Khan spends his cash not only on sumptuous homes and holidays but also on costly autos and bicycles. Besides acting, Salman Khan is famous for his collection of luxury and extravagant cars. His fascinating gigantic collection comprises sporty autos and lavish SUVs. Salman Khan’s car collection includes Audi RS7 Sportback, BMW X5 SUV, Audi R8, Lexus LX570, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Toyota Land Cruiser. Here is a portion of Bhai's garage, including a couple of autos he has previously possessed.

1. Audi RS7

Salman Khan used to be the face of Audi in India before Virat Kohli took over this job. It was Salman who promoted the four ring-badged German carmaker's autos in the nation. In 2014, Salman brought home the red RS7, Audi's flagship sports car in India, after its launch event.

The Audi RS7 is equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that cranks out 555bhp and 700 Nm of torque. The 2014 Audi RS7 could run from 0-100km/h in only 3.9 seconds and had an electronically limited maximum speed of 250 km/h, which could be increased to 305 km/h, through the optional dynamic package plus set-up.

2. Range Rover Vogue

Salman Khan has a passion for huge SUVs and is the owner of a white Range Rover SUV from the British marque Land Rover. Salman's current Range Rover is a Vogue model, which is offered with two turbo-diesel motors, a 3.0-litre V6 and 4.4-litre V8 or a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol alternative as well.  He is often caught taking this luxurious SUV for parties and other affairs.

3. Mercedes 

The Mercedes GL was the former flagship SUV from the German auto giant. The GL was one of only a handful couple of 7 seater SUVs that three adults could fit in the third row. The Mercedes GL in India utilized a 3.0-litre turbo V6 diesel motor creating 258bhp and 620 Nm of torque which was sent to every wheel through an automatic gearbox.

Till now, Bhai has already bought a couple of SUVs from Mercedes. The Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 is the most recent expansion to the Salman Khan collection and was given to Salman as a present by his frenemy Shah Rukh Khan. This automobile is controlled by a 3.0-litre V6 motor that produces 362bhp and 520 Nm of torque which spreads to wheels through a 9-speed gearbox.

4. BMW X6

Being in the list of Salman Khan's car collection, the BMW X6 was a hybrid between a coupe and an SUV. The X6 was a well-known auto from BMW among Indian purchasers. It is a luxurious and powerful sports car, powered by a 300-hp 3.0-litre turbo inline-six with an eight-speed automatic which can be ordered with either rear- or all-wheel drive. An audacious 445-hp 4.4-litre turbo V-8 is optional and is only available with all-wheel drive. Salman was given his X6 by a BMW merchant in Gujarat.

5. Lexus LX

Before he fell for his Range Rovers, Sallu Bhai was a major devotee of the Lexus LX SUV, which he imported into India in the same way as other Bollywood fellows. The luxury Lexus LX 570 is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine that creates 381bhp of power and 546Nm of peak torque at 3600rpm which is coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Throughout the years, Salman has claimed many of these huge Lexus SUVs.
