Facelifted Ford Bronco SUV Leaked At A Dealer Meeting

For your information, the Ford Bronco had been an iconic off-road SUV which was on sale in the period from 1966 to 1996. 22 years ago, the last Bronco SUV was produced; now Ford has revived the Bronco name on this new SUV. Unlike the old Bronco, which was underpinned by a far larger platform, which also supports the well-known models such as the Ford F-150, the new Bronco will share the smaller chassis with the Ford Endeavour, which is also on sale in India and other foreign countries.

The side profile is equipped with standard high door height and roof with dual paint schemes for a beautiful contrast. Although the rear of the SUV is hidden in the photograph, we can still notice that it gets a wide vertical LED tail-lamps, which are positioned lower than usual and lightened with a pattern which outlines the glass area and enhances the vehicle’s attraction.

As a utility vehicle, Ford Bronco runs on black alloy wheels with strong tyres and a generous ground clearance to be ready for the off-road mode. Since Ford is not specifically focused on only off-roads customers, the standard version is likely to be equipped with regular tyres which are more suitable for a normal mode. In all likelihood, the Ford Bronco will be powered by a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, which comes mated to a 6-speed AT unit for the American auto market. As for the other markets, the Bronco SUV will gets the power from a 3.2-litre diesel engine.

Ford is also developing a mid-cycle upgrade for the Ford Endeavour, which will be debuted next year. A brand-new SUV which will be based on the same chassis as the new-gen Mahindra XUV500 is also projected to be launched in India in the coming time. With these two new SUVs, there is a little likelihood that the popular Ford Bronco will come to the Indian auto market. Considering the road conditions in India, and the practicality of this new SUV, it would be an intense disappointment to the Indian car buyers.
