Facelifted Mahindra TUV300 to Launch in 2019

The Mahindra TUV300 facelift is scheduled to be launched in 2019 with delicate changes in the design and extra features, but the more considerable changes can be noticed in the cabin.

In terms of the exterior, the facelifted version of the Mahindra TUV300 is expected to be equipped with:

  • Projector headlamps or twin-barrel headlamps with LED DRLs. The refreshed version of TUV is also likely to feature LED tailamps.

  • Mahindra’s brand-new toothed grille

  • Larger wheels in comparison with the 15-inch ones in the predecessor. Dual-tone alloy wheels are also expected to be present in the new version.

The exterior of the facelifted Mahindra TUV300 is likely to be packed with several new features

As regards the interior, the facelifted TUV300 is expected to leave customers with no worry since it might provide a list of comfort and safety outstanding features, including

  • An E power steering like the Marazzo

  • A touchscreen infotainment system measuring seven inches with the support of Android Auto and Mahindra’s app kit.

  • AMT climatic control and AC vents in the rear.

  • Autocruise

  • Rear-view mirrors which are electrically foldable

With respect to engine and performance, the new SUV will possibly preserve the existing 1.5-litre 3-cylinder engine which can deliver 100PS and 240Nm of torque. This engine is mated with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. The more powerful 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine producing 123PS and 300Nm of torque will not be available as it has been confirmed not to be offered with the current model. The Indian automaker will also not offer the petrol motor with this facelifted TUV300 as the new petrol engine will be introduced with the Marazzo in 2020.

The price of Mahindra TUV300 facelift is expected to be the same, from Rs 8.31 lakh - 10.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Apart from the facelifted Mahindra TUV300, the Indian carmaker also plans to release a brand-new seven-seat SUV, named Y400. The SUV will directly rival Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner. A sub-4 meter SUV supported by the global Tivoli’s platform will also be launched, directly competing with Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport.
