1. Emergency
One of the advantage of the app is sending emergency alerts, which provides a preventive function call and even car assistance calls. This is irrespective of whether you are driving the car or even away from it.
2. Vehicle tracking
Thanks to the help from telematics control unit and a smart-phone, the car now can be easy to control and track. Being installed through smartphone, the app allows the users to know the location of the car and also share with others.
3. Live vehicle status
The car's status offers the information about over-speeding alerts, low fuel alert, location etc. The movement of the car will be easily logged and tracked.
4. Service due reminder
When the app's database is added, the driver can book the appointments through the app itself. This app will immediately offer the entire information including service history, maintenance costs and calculation of all costs.
5. Driving behaviour analysis
Suzuki Connect can also analyse the driving behaviour. Based on the information a fuel efficiency report will be generated and will also give you a score accordingly. It should be noted that Suzuki Connect is right now only available for Nexa-branded cars, new and existing, and at an extra cost.
Maruti Suzuki India has officially shared communication on the launch of Suzuki Connect. In order to activate the app, you will need to get a device installed in your car from your NEXA dealer. The device costs Rs 9,999 (includes 3-year subscription fee of the app).
