Nissan has been preparing for the launch of the Kicks in the Indian market. And today, we can now take a look at the Indian-spec Nissan Kicks through some spy shots.

Before entering India, the Kicks was introduced in the international market. However, we have never ever seen one with a right-side steering wheel. And now, through the spy spots of the Kicks being tested in India, we can tell that the car is going to enter the Indian market with right-hand-drive configuration.

As seen from the spy shots, the overall profile of the test mule seen in India looks quite similar to the one sold abroad. However, the India-spec Kicks will sit on the tried-and-tested M0 architecture, which also underpins the India-spec Renault Captur, the Duster, and the Terrano. According to sources, the Kicks will be positioned as a more premium offering than any of these.

At the front side, the Kicks will feature a pronounced front grille with large wheel arches as the global version. The Kicks will feature black A, B, and C pillars, contrasting with the body paint. The car will be the most sporty-looking Nissan models in India.
