Mahindra XUV700 launched in 2-3 months, competing against Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour

Mahindra XUV700 based on the Ssangyong Rexton will be launched soon along with a new sub-compact SUV and a premium MPV from Mahindra. This SUV was introduced in India at the Auto Expo 2018. This seven seater will sit on the higher segment than the XUV500. Some spy images capturing the new SUV on its road test have shown the exterior of this car.

The exterior features automatic LED headlights and LED taillights five-spoke alloys and wipers. High bonnet, large bumper, and distinguishing shoulder line give the front profile a bold and pronounced impression. 

The interior highlights include a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well as a 10.1-inch screen for the second bench. The infotainment system could support Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto. To increase the comfort inside the cabin, there will be dual-zone climate control feature. The interior looks more premium with the addition of ambient lighting and leather upholstery.

The XUV700 will leave car owners with no worry about the safety as it is loaded with a full list of safety features, including 9 airbags, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Control, Advanced Emergency Braking, and Active Roll-over Protection.

A 2.2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine will power the XUV700. This engine is able to make the power of 187 PS and 420 Nm. This engine is paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic gearbox.

Within the next two or three months, Mahindra XUV700 will be launched. After being introduced, it will compete with Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor. The price is predicted to range from 22 to 25 lakhs.

The Mahindra XUV 700 based on the Ssangyong Rexton is likely to launch in India within the next 2-3 months. It will pit itself against Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
