Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has recently confirmed to be sold at Arena Dealerships and not be retailed at the premium Nexa outlets.

Since Maruti aims at shifting most of the premium products to the Nexa dealers, the Ertiga was supposed to be brought on there as a result. However, Maruti Suzuki has currently confirmed to retail the second-gen Ertiga at the regular Arena dealerships. Even though the buying experience is said to be superior, the Arena outlets are claimed to offer even a more than pleasant experience for the customers.

With Maruti shifting most of its premium products in the Nexa range, the Ertiga was expected to head there as well, however, they have decided against it and so the Ertiga will be sold via the regular Arena outlet. While the buying experience in a Nexa showroom is definitely superior, Maruti is making sure that the Arena outlets offer a more than pleasant experience as well.

This decision from Maruti can be explained form the fact that Arena definitely offers a wider reach compared to the upmarket Nexa network. In particular, Nexa dealerships, at the moment, are available with 322 outlets across India. Meanwhile, Arena network includes a whopping of up to 2,192 outlets. The automaker has currently upgraded the Arena standard chain into more attractive one, in which, the facilities are considered the significant factor.

Maruti Suzuki scheduled on launching the new Ertiga in Indian market on this November 21. Since it first introduced in 2012, the Ertiga has been proved to be a solid choice among the MPV segment. Having based on the Swift’s Heartect platform, the new MPV will be available in a bigger look, compared to the outgoing model.

In terms of performance, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will receive the power via two engine options which are a 1.3-litre diesel engine and 1.5-litre petrol.

The bookings for the new Ertiga was commenced unofficially a few days ago. It is expected that Maruti Suzuki will announce to accept the booking formally in the upcoming days, in the face of the price announcement taken place on November 21, 2018.
