From the showcased wire sculpture, we can have a look at the silhouette of the car, however, there is no detail to be revealed at this stage. Luckily, some spy shots have given us clue on how the second-gen Evoque will look like. It seems that the new model is inspired by the design of the Velar. It is likely to feature chunky headlight housing along with the signature mesh grille. At the rear end, the thin taillight unit is high-set.

At launch, the second-gen Evoque will offer a range of powertrain options, both petrol and diesel. These engines will be paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox. It is predicted that the hybrid will also make it to the all-new Evoque, but it will not be on offer at launch.
