All-new Mahindra Thar has achieved overwhelming success in the domestic market. Due to the increasing demand, the waiting period of the Thar has extended up to six months.

After a long time of anticipation, Mahindra launched the new-gen Mahindra Thar last month. Priced from Rs 9.80 lakh to Rs 13.75 lakh, 2020 Mahindra Thar has created a huge buzz in the market with a whopping number of bookings. In the first month, the Thar has garnered over 20,000 bookings.

Even though the demand is staggeringly high, the homegrown manufacturer is struggling to manage the supply chain to meet customer demand. During the first month on sale, only 1,207 units of the Mahindra Thar were dispatched. It seems that Mahindra did not expect and prepare for such a huge demand. The waiting period on the Mahindra Thar has extended up to seven months in a few areas.
