2019 BMW X4 Launched At Rs 60.60 Lakh

The 2019 BMW X4 measures 4,572 mm in length; 1,918 mm in width and 1,621 mm in height with a 2,864 mm wheelbase. Compared to the outgoing model, the new X4 is greater in length and width by 81 mm and 37 mm, respectively and less in height by 3 mm; the wheelbase is 54 mm longer. Offered with only the M Sport X variant, the BMW X4 comes with such exterior features as side skirts, a roof-mounted spoiler, wide 19’’ alloy rims, dual exhaust pipes and a diffuser element in the rear.

Entering the cabin, you can realize an M design driving wheel, sports seats and some M badges. The interior features consist of

In India, the 2019 BMW X4 is offered with three engine options:

• xDrive20d: 2.0L 4-cylinder diesel motor with a power of 190 hp

• xDrive30d: 3.0L 6-cylinder diesel motor with a power of 265 hp

• x Drive30i: 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo petrol motor with a power of 252 hp.

The transmission duties on all of the above variants are undertaken by an 8-speed AT gearbox with the power sent to the four wheels. Furthermore, all variants offer the driving mode system of BMW with four settings: Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+, which makes sure that the driver will have the most comfortable driving experience.

The 2019 BMW X4 is available with multiple motor options

Like the X3 from which it borrows the platform, equipment kit and motor options, the new X4 will be locally assembled in BMW’s Chennai factory to keep the price down. It is the first car launched in the series of vehicles planned for 2019 by BMW, which also includes the new 3-Series, the top-spec 8 Series and the brand-new Z4 roadster. With this vehicle, BMW expects to increase its competitiveness in the niche SUV-coupe segment, globally pioneered by the X6. In India, the BMW X4 directly take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, which is priced in the range from Rs 50,90 lakh to Rs 78,03 lakh (ex-showroom).
