2019 Ford Endeavour Facelift Interior Images Out

The updated version of the Ford Endeavour is hitting the dealerships ahead of the upcoming February launch event in the country. Spy images on its exterior and interior have emerged on the Internet recently.

The 2019 Ford Endeavour facelift would come with a bunch of cosmetic changes from outside to inside while the powertrain package will be identical. As from the spy shots, the all-new Ford Endeavour appears with “Diffused Silver Metallic” body paint, sleeker radiator front grille and revised air intake. A newly developed 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels are spotted in the flesh while the front bumper is inserted with silver and fog lights on both sides. Roof spoiler, rear wiper and roof rails will come as standard features in the much-awaited Ford offering. Inside the cabin, the upcoming Ford Endeavour is highlighted with passive keyless entry, start-stop push button together with an 8-method adjustable passenger seat on the front.

Mechanically, the latest spy pics also revealed the engine details of the new Endeavour. It is highly likely to get the power from the similar 200 PS/470 Nm 3.2-litre TDCI diesel engine like in the outgoing model. The entry-level Endeavour is also slated to come with a 2.2-litre TDCI diesel burner which can churn out 160 PS of power at 3,000 rpm and a whopping 420 Nm of torque figure at 1,750- 2,500 rpm. Combined with those engines will be a 6-speed automatic transmission which comes to replace the old 6-speed manual transmission unit.

In the global auto markets, the facelifted Ford Endeavour is currently available with a 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel powertrain sourced from the Ford Panther family in both single-turbo and twin-turbo versions. They are capable of generating 180PS / 420 Nm and 213 PS/ 500 Nm units, respectively and sends the power output to the wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. This new engine might hit the Indian markets sometime when the BS-VI emission norms come into effect next year.

The 2019 Ford Endeavour is expected to get the price tags of around Rs 26.83 Lakh to Rs 26 Lakh in India and take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Compass.
