2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Interior Spied

Hyundai Grand i10 is among the six models that Hyundai plans to bring out this year. The new Grand i10 is expected to arrive around the festive season. Hyundai is working on renewing its best-selling hatchback. The new Hyundai Grand i10 is caught by the camera several times while doing road test across India. From the latest spy image, we can get a glimpse at the interior of the new Grand i10.

In the spy images, not only the exterior but also the interior is carefully camouflaged. However, here are some small take-away from the interior spy shots. First, the interior of the Grand i10 appears to be larger and more spacious than the ongoing model. To free up more space for the interior, Hyundai has reworked the dashboard and resize the seats. What’s more, new features like adjustable headrests are added to give the interior space better comfort.

The dashboard despite being refreshed for more space still looks nothing out of the common design style, at least from what we could see from the beyond the mule cover. Also, the lower-spec variant will not come with many features apart from the twin-pod instrument cluster, digital infotainment display in the centre of the dashboard.

On the other hand, the higher spec variants will get a 7.0-8.0-inch touchscreen. The design of the instrument panel is different from the lower-spec variant in the way that it comes with one speedometer and other information will be shown on a wide info display. Electric climate control is also available at these grades.

The higher-spec variants will come with a large 7-inch touchscreen and electric climate control

The engine setting of the Grand i10 is expected to keep the 1.2-litre petrol engine but it will be revised to comply with the BSVI emission norms while the 1.2-litre diesel engine is likely to be discontinued due to the high cost of BSVI upgrading. The five-speed manual transmission will come as standard and another 5-speed Smart Auto AMT will come as optional.

Hyundai Grand i10 will be priced from Rs 5 to 8.5 lakh. It will continue to take on the likes of Maruti Swift and Ford Figo.
