Hyundai has confirmed that it will launch eight new cars in India by 2020 with the first launch being the new Santro in 2018. The next ones consist of new-gen Grand i10, Elite i20, Creta, Elantra and an all-new compact USV, the Carlino Styx, etc. Considering the serious air pollution in India and the potential EV segment here, the South Korean automaker is also planning to introduce electric vehicles to the market with the first one being the Kona SUV, which will be locally manufactured to keep the prices down.
