2019 Hyundai Venue Records Over 2,000 Pre-booking Orders In 24 Hours

Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of the South Korea-based carmaker, looks all set to write a new chapter of its own success story with the introduction of the Hyundai Venue. While the first connected model in the country is all set to launch on May 21, Hyundai has been accepting the pre-bookings for the SUV. It can be booked both directly through the company’s dealerships and via the official Hyundai website for a token sum of Rs 21,000.

The Hyundai Venue will be launched in India on May 21. Now you can book for the SUV ahead of launch with a token amount of Rs 21,000.

In a record of sorts, the 2019 Hyundai Venue has recorded an exceptionally enthusiastic response from the enthusiasts in just around 24 hours. In just one day, the SUV registered as many as 2,000 bookings of the Venue and of course, the number has been soaring ever since. On average, the Hyundai Venue received more than 84 bookings per hour right once its bookings started on May 2, 2019. Frankly, this number shows that the Venue becomes one of the most sought-after models at the moment.

By now we all know that Hyundai Venue will officially go on sale in India in the coming weeks with four trims, 13 variants and 7 body paint options. Given the design or features, the 2019 Hyundai Venue looks simply brilliant. Apart from the magnificent build quality, the all-new SUV has been highly complimented for a long list of segment-first advanced features. Being marketed as the first connected SUV of India, the Venue packs enough standard features alongside 33 different unique BlueLink connectivity functionalities in which 10 features are India-specific. Prices of the car are yet to be disclosed..

Hyundai offers the Venue with advanced BlueLink technology which features 33 unique functionalities.

We learn that the Hyundai Venue will be offered with three engine options- two petrol and one diesel along with three transmission choices. Off all the engines, the new Kappa T-GDI 1.0-litre turbocharged unit is of the most interest to us. This three-cylinder turbo-petrol motor is capable of pumping out 120 PS of max power and 172 Nm of peak torque. It comes engaged with two transmission choices including a new 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The other options include the outgoing 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which can output 83 PS/ 116 Nm and 90 PS/ 220 Nm, respectively.

We are receiving customer enquiries at all our touch points across India as VENUE tops Vehicle Preference Chart in Design, Power, Transmission and Connectivity. Further, the notable traction on Online booking is coming from Semi-urban areas due to strong telecom infrastructure. This showcases the emergence of new era of connected mobility solutions and acceptance of technology in day-to-day life.”
