2019 Maruti Suzuki WagonR Teased Ahead Of Launch
While many spy images that have emerged on the Internet during the last several days have already given us a lot of information on the design of the 2019 Maruti Suzuki WagonR ahead of its launch, Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest auto manufacturer, has rolled out the car's first-ever image teaser in the first step of the third-gen WagonR’s massive marketing campaign. In the teaser, the new model has been described as the 'big new WagonR.' The leaked brochure of the new model has already revealed that it has bigger and better proportions as compared to the previous generation. Dimension-wise, the tall-boy hatchback brilliantly measures the length of 3,655 mm, the width of 1,620 mm, the height of 1,675 mm and 2,435 mm in the wheelbase.

According to a leaked brochure image, the 2019 Maruti Suzuki WagonR will come with six different exterior body paint options, comprising: Superior White, Magma White, Silky Silver, Autumn Orange, Poolside Blue and Nutmeg Brown. Also, the car will be more likely to be sold in the domestic market with three variants: LXi, VXi and ZXi. Its main rival will be the 2018 Hyundai Santro.

Interior equipment will include a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, electrically adjustable ORVMs, steering wheels with audio and Bluetooth control and more. Talking about the safety features on the Santro's rival, all variants of the car will be made available with an anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking sensors, speed alert, driver’s side airbag and SBR. More safety fitments will be packed in the top-spec VXi and ZXi variants.

It will be likely to come with a new touchscreen infotainment system
As we have reported earlier, the new WagonR will house a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder K10B petrol engine option generating 68 PS and 90 Nm units along with a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder K12M gasoline burner which is good for 83 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. These motors will be all mated to a 5-speed MT or AMT.
The car will offer both MT and AMT transmissions
Announced to officially arrive in the Indian market on this 23rd of January, the all-new Maruti WagonR will be priced at Rs 4.5 Lakh to Rs 6 Lakh (ex-showroom, India).
