2019 Maruti WagonR CNG Will Be Priced At Rs 4.84 Lakh

The 2019 Maruti WagonR CNG’s launch event has been around the corner of the Indian market. According to some recent reports, the new WagonR CNG will more likely to get the introductory price of around Rs 4.84 Lakh at launch in India (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki is focusing on the launch of 2019 WagonR CNG in India

Following the arrival of the next-gen Maruti Suzuki WagonR in 2019, the leading manufacturer is again going to heat up the automotive space by the compressed natural gas-powered WagonR later this year. Like its conventional petrol-fueled sibling, the 2019 WagonR CNG will also employ the tried and tested 1.0-litre K10B three-cylinder gasoline engine which is capable of producing the maximum power and torque figures of 68 PS and 90 Nm. However, the total power and torque of the vehicle when running on CNG will be of course affected. Details of these specifications are yet to be wrapped off.

As confirmed by the Indo-Japanese automaker, the upcoming WagonR CNG should not arrive with a 5-speed automated manual transmission. Instead, it will get the power delivered to the wheels from a standard 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti Suzuki will sell the new petrol-CNG WagonR in only two grades- LXI and LXI (O) with a various suite of features across the variants.

Both two trims should come featured with various superior packages, namely body-coloured bumpers, dual-tone cabin, the driver side auto-down function for front window, driver airbag, front seatbelt reminder, speed alert system, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors. The LX(O) grade whereas is added with passenger airbag, seatbelt reminder with pre-tensioner and front force limiters.

Prices of the upcoming Maruti WagonR CNG are in likelihood to stand at around Rs 4.84 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the LXI trim and Rs 4.89 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the LXI (O) variant. Exterior colour options of the new CNG-powered version will comprise of white, grey and silver while the petrol units are currently available in blue, brown and orange.
