Tata Hexa will return with a refreshed exterior and interior. The 2019 Tata Hexa facelift has been launched at Rs 14.38 lakh.

2019 will be the year for the Hexa to update its package. This time, the Hexa will come with Harman-sourced 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is previously featured on the Tata Tigor. The new infotainment system will replace the old 5.0-inch unit. Android Auto support is also available on this new system along with a 10-speaker JBL audio system.

Apart from this new infotainment unit, the interior also gains some new touch like chrome accent on AC vent and piano black insert on the steering wheel. The latter feature is limited for the mid-range XT, XTA and top-spec XT 4x4 variant.

Besides, exteriorly, it also gains dual tone car paint options: Infinity Black and Titanium Grey. The Infinity Black could be coupled with white, silver or grey paint, while Titanium Grey could match with blue or brown. These paint options are exclusive to top-spec variants like XT, XTA and XTA 4x4 only.

The most affordable variant on the line-up, the XE, will no longer be available. The disappearance of the XE trim means the XM will replace XE to be the standard across the range. Previously, the XE came with 2.2-litre Varicor 320 diesel engine that made 150 PS of maximum power and 320 Nm of maximum torque. The standard engine now will be the 2.2-litre Varicor 400 diesel engine with 156PS and 400Nm on deck. This engine is packed with a standard 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 5-speed manual gearbox on the XE will also be excluded from the range.

Updates on the Hexa comes at no cost on the XM, XM+ and XMA trims while the mid-range and high-end variants will get the slight price hike of Rs 20,000. The price change will establish a clearer price line between the Harrier and the Hexa.
