As a part of the generation upgrade, the Force Gurkha gets a couple of exterior updates to create a new avatar for the new-gen version. In addition to exterior makeover, Force also takes this chance to revise the off-road SUV to meet the new crash test requirements and upcoming pedestrian safety norms. The old chassis and bodyshell are replaced in order to make the car compliant with the new standards.

On the front end, the Force Gurkha keeps the traditional retro look with upright fascia while managing to integrate new styling elements. For example, the 2020 Force Gurkha gets redesigned grille, revised bumper and a new light setting. To the side profile, the new Gurkha sports new 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped by 245/70 tubeless tyres, large wheel arches and heavy body cladding, which significantly enhances the rugged appearance.

When entering the cabin, we will notice a load of new updates. The dashboard and the centre console gets comprehensive updates with a new touchscreen infotainment system, new digital MID instrument cluster, and round air vents. The interior now features a dual-tone theme. Moreover, to the rear passenger space, Force Gurkha has two separate forward-facing seats as well as two jump seats in the boot room. All these new feature additions make the Force Gurkha more appealing and modern in the eyes of the customers.

Under the hood, Force Gurkha keeps the same diesel-manual powertrain offering. Mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 2.6-litre diesel engine generates a top power of 90 Bhp. Of course, this engine option is updated to meet the new BSVI emission norms. Notably, Force continues to offer the new Gurkha with both 4wD and 2WD option.
