2020 Ford Endeavour new TVC Released

Ford Endeavour was the latest vehicle added to the company’s BS6 line-up. The updated SUV rubs its shoulders with the likes of Mahindra Alturas G4 and Toyota Fortuner.

Ford India has already started rolling-out BS6-compliant vehicles into the Indian market. The carmaker has recently updated EcoSport, Aspire, Freestyle and Figo as per the upcoming BS6 norms. Recently, even the Ford Endeavour was added to the company’s BS6 line-up. The updated SUV rubs its shoulders with the likes of Mahindra Alturas G4 and Toyota Fortuner. Recently, the carmaker released a new TVC for the latest version of its premium SUV. The video mainly focuses on the cosmetical and features updates being carried by the 2020 Ford Endeavour.

The overall design of the SUV remains the same with the only update made on the outside being the introduction of an updated pair of headlamps along with the removal of powertrain badging. Apart from these changes, everything remains the same in terms of exterior styling. The video starts by showing the updates and changes made on the new BS6 model. The car now gets a new Ford Pass smartphone app feature. One can remotely access functions like switching off/on the engine along with lock and unlock function. One of the biggest updates is the addition of a new BS6 compliant four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine, which now replaces the 3.2-litre and 2.2-litre oil-burners offered earlier.

The combination of 10-speed automatic gearbox and the smaller engine will result in offering better efficiency

The SUV also employs world's first 10-speed automatic gearbox that helps the off-roader easily cruise on highways at lower rpms. The combination of 10-speed automatic gearbox and the smaller engine will result in better fuel efficiency. The new 2.0-litre BS6-compliant engine produces 170 PS of maximum power and 420 Nm of peak torque. Moreover, the SUV also carries a comprehensive off-road kit, including terrain modes, low-ratio transfer case and differential locks. Ford is offering the updated Endeavour in two different trim levels, namely- Titanium and Titanium+. 2020 Ford Endeavour has been priced between Rs 29.55 lakh to Rs 33.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
