2020 Hyundai Creta BS6 To Launch on March 17

South Korean carmaker, Hyundai showcased the new-gen Hyundai Creta at Auto Expo 2020 on 6th February. The carmaker will launch the all-new Creta on 17th March, 2020. Once launched, the mid-size SUV will rival with the likes of Jeep Compass, MG Hector, Kia Seltos and Mahindra XUV500.

South Korean carmaker, Hyundai showcased the new-gen Hyundai Creta at Auto Expo 2020 on 6th February, and is all-set to launch the car on 17th March, 2020. Once launched, the mid-size SUV will rival with the likes of Jeep Compass, MG Hector, Kia Seltos and Mahindra XUV500. We’ve already seen the exterior looks of the new-gen Creta, but the interiors, features, and engine options are still undercover.

Outside, the new-gen model gets a 3D cascading grille, triple LED headlights along with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs up front. The side profile of the car features sporty diamond-cut alloy wheels, chrome door handles, body-coloured side mirrors with integrated side indicators and Blacked-out B-pillar. The picture is completed with a new looking rear, which gets LED taillamp, faux skid plate, sporty-looking spoiler, rear wiper, and "CRETA" branding. The cabin of the new-gen model is not yet revealed, but one can expect the car to feature a big touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control, air purifier, electrically adjustable seats, and ambient lighting.

The new-gen Creta will also feature Hyundai’s Blue Link connectivity technology

Moreover, the new-gen Creta will also feature Hyundai’s Blue Link connectivity technology. One can expect the all-new SUV to borrow BS-VI complaint engine options from Kia Seltos, which means that the 2020 Creta will get propelled by three engine options. The SUV will employ a 1.5-litre, petrol unit that produces power and torque outputs of 115 bhp and 145 Nm. The new-gen model will also get a more powerful 1.4-litre, petrol engine, which develops 140 bhp of power and 242 Nm of peak torque. The third powertain option is a 1.5-litre, diesel mill, which churns out 115 bhp and 250 Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by either a Manual, Automatic or a DSG transmission.
