New Gen Hyundai Creta Now At A Hyundai Dealership Near You

Hyundai is all set to launch the new-gen 2020 Hyundai Creta in India on March 16. Showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 last month, the all-new Creta has managed to garner more than 10,000 bookings in around 10 days. In the run-up to the new Creta’s launch, Hyundai has started dispatching the SUV to the company’s dealerships across India.

We are eager enough to see the 2020 Hyundai Creta going on sale in the Indian market. Certainly, the South Korean company wants to provide its prospective customers with all details related to the new-gen Creta before they start making the purchase. Except for the prices, a lot of things have been revealed on the new SUV.

The all-new Hyundai Creta sports massive changes on the exterior that boasts of the signature cascading front grille with 3D effects flanked by LED headlamps and boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lamps. There are also a revised bumper, new fog lamps housing, new bull-bar shaped cladding, floating roofline along with lavishly-designed 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The 2020 Hyundai Creta will be available with eight paint schemes including Polar White, Titan Grey, Phantom Black, Lava Orange, Galaxy Blue, Red Mulberry, and Deep Forest.

Interior wise, the Hyundai Creta will feature a dual-tone black-beige colour theme with a new dashboard layout that enhances the car’s overall premium quotient. Also, the all-new Creta will come with a huge 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch instrument panel, Hyundai’s BlueLink offering over 50 connected features, new multifunctional steering and more. There will be additional features like a panoramic sunroof, electric parking brake, ventilated seats, tyre pressure monitoring system and so on.

2020 Hyundai Creta’s mechanical package will comprise of a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a 1.4-litre turbo GDI petrol motor together with a 1.5-litre VGT diesel unit. The turbocharged and the naturally-aspirated engine will be tuned to produce 138 BHP/ 242 Nm and 113 BHP/ 144 Nm, respectively while the diesel mill will make 113 BHP and 250 Nm of torque.

Transmission options for the new-gen Creta include a 6-speed MT as standard along with a 6-speed AT (on 1.5-litre diesel), a CVT (on 1.5-litre petrol) and a 7-speed automatic DCT with paddle shifters (on 1.4-litre turbo petrol). The 2020 Hyundai Creta will be offered in a total of 5 trim levels including the E, EX, S, SX, and the top-spec SX (O).
