2020 Hyundai Creta will offer a host of smartwatch enabled features. The users will be able to access these feature via a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch.
2020 Hyundai Creta is all set to be launched in the country on 17 March 2020. Earlier, we reported how the car looks like from inside, and it that it will also get a turbo variant with a sporty interior theme. The car will also feature a full-size panoramic sunroof this time, however, it would also feature smartwatch operated control for various functions of the car via a Galaxy smartwatch. These features are in line with the Blue Link connected car tech that was seen on the other Hyundai cars. Thus, Hyundai has named this iteration of the connected car features as ‘Advanced Blue Link’. In total, there would be 50 plus connectivity features available with the Advanced Blue Link, whereas, the older tech, which debuted on the Venue, only offers 33 features.
The car will now be able to revert to ‘Hello Blue Link’ voice command and will allow the user to control the sunroof, climate control temperature, blower speed, wind direction, and more. The new system will also provide information about Indian public holidays and live cricket updates. Many such features will be accessible via Galaxy smartwatch, which is something that should enhance the convenience factor. These features will include a highly informative watch face, remote controls, vehicle status information, auto air purifier, and vehicle alerts. The remote control features will let the user remotely start/stop the car, door lock/unlock, distance to empty, tyre pressure, fuel level, HVAC, AQI, geofence the car, get valet alerts, speed alerts, set time fence and many other features.
