The 2020 Hyundai Venue is preferred more by females in the US than males. The US-spec Hyundai Venue is powered by a 1.6-litre gasoline engine.

Hyundai Venue is one of the top-selling compact SUVs in its segment. It rubs shoulders with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. The sub4 meter SUV is a big hit in the Indian market and was capable enough to beat the well-established rivals. Along with the Indian market, the SUV also gets retailed in several other foreign markets. According to a recent report, in the USA, the car is very popular among female buyers, who account for 63 per cent of sales.

This makes the Hyundai Venue stand-out among the Korean carmaker’s line-up. Moreover, in the USA, the Hyundai Venue is being offered with complimentary maintenance of 3 years or 58,000 km and a 5-year/96,500 km new vehicle limited warranty- in addition to the 10-year/ 1,61,000 km power plant limited warranty.

The US-spec Hyundai Venue comes loaded with features like 3.5-inch TFT instrument cluster, keyless entry, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cruise control, automatic headlamps, steering mounted controls and much more. Moreover, the compact SUV is offered with safety features like multiple airbags, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Traction control, Vehicle Stability Management and Electronic Stability Control.

 On the other hand, the India-spec Hyundai Venue is powered by three different powertrain options- 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.0—litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol units put out power and torque outputs of 82 bhp and 118Nm, and the more potent 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine churns out 118bhp and 172 Nm of twisting force. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 99bhp of power and 240 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT. The compact SUV is priced between Rs 6.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 11.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
