According to a recent report, in the USA, the car is very popular among female buyers, who account for 63 per cent of sales.

Furthermore, the US-spec Hyundai Venue is propelled by a 1.6-litre, Smartstream four-pot petrol engine, which churns out 121bhp of peak power. The engine comes paired with a CVT gearbox sending power to the front wheels. 

The India-spec Venue competes with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Ford EcoSport

 On the other hand, the India-spec Hyundai Venue is powered by three different powertrain options- 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.0—litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol units put out power and torque outputs of 82 bhp and 118Nm, and the more potent 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine churns out 118bhp and 172 Nm of twisting force. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 99bhp of power and 240 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT. The compact SUV is priced between Rs 6.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 11.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
