2020 Kia Mohave is the Brawniest SUV Ever from the South Korean Carmaker

Kia Telluride has been recently awarded as the World Car of The Year 2020. The Telluride is a big-brawny SUV and does look quite intimidating. However, it isn’t the biggest and brawniest a Kia SUV can ever get. The carmaker has recently taken the wraps off the new Mohave SUV. The Mohave is bigger than the Telluride and enjoys a lot more road presence. The first set of pictures of the Mohave surfaced on the internet in August last year and now, the carmaker has released another set of pictures of the Mohave and it looks as browbeating as an SUV could ever get.

2020 Kia Mohave features a masculine front end with a big Tiger-Nose grille.

2020 Kia Mohave is based on the Mohave Masterpiece Concept, which was showcased at the 2019 Seoul Motor Show. It boasts of a bold-looking front-end with big-wide Tiger Nose grille sitting in between the full-LED headlamps. The grille also features disconnected slats finished in chrome. The Mohave does not get the ice cube LED fog lamps as seen on other Kia cars. Instead, it gets vertically-stacked foglamp units on either side of the lower air dam. There is a silver-finished faux skid plate as well on the lower end of the bumper.

At the rear, the car continues with its boxy theme and gets an upright stance for the tailgate. To accentuate the appeal of the rear-end it gets a set of Matrix-style LED tail lamps. In between the tail lamps, there’s a wide ‘Mohave’ branding. The interior of the Mohave is finished in dual-tone theme with the use of the black and tan colour scheme. The dashboard also gets wooden inserts and chrome finish to give it an upmarket appeal. Talking of the infotainment screen, it comes with a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen display with AC vents on either side.

Powering the 2020 Kia Mohave is a 3.0-litre V6 oil burner. It produces a peak power output of 356 HP and a max torque of 560 Nm. The transmission duties are performed by an 8-speed automatic, which delivers the power to all four wheels of the cars, all the time.
