New Land Rover Defender | Arriving in India on 15th October

The new-gen Land Rover Defender first came to the limelight at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September last year. Earlier this year, the British car brand has opened bookings for this new model in India. The prices of the new Land Rover Defender were also revealed. Back then, the new Land Rover Defender was scheduled for launch in June. However, due to the current health crisis, the launch of this new model was delayed.

On the international market, the Land Rover Defender is available with both diesel and petrol engine. In addition, the British car brand also offers a plug-in hybrid version. However, when arriving at the Indian market, this model is expected to come with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine only. This petrol engine is good for 292 BHP and 400 Nm. It is expected that this engine will come with automatic transmission. The new-gen Land Rover Defender will be available in two configurations, a 3-door version Defender 90 and a 5-door version Defender 110.

Also, the power air suspension can lower the ground clearance by 50mm, making the ingress and egress easier. Moreover, the new Defender gets other features like 360-degree parking camera and Wade sensing function.
