2020 Land Rover Defender To Be Launched Next Year

Ahead of its launch in 2020, Land Rover has teased an image of the upcoming Land Rover Defender with the caption “Do not unwrap until 2019”. It is a way to signal that the full images of the new Defender will come soon in 2019. In fact, the spy images of the car have been around for quite some time, so it will not be too long until we could see the Defender in its full form, possibly after the New York Show in April. The image reveals the boxy design of the Defender, which inherits from the previous model. As far as we know, the Defender will continue to be offered in two-door and four-door variants just like before. However, some variations will be made. 2020 Defender will get the front and rear independent suspension. On the engine front, the new Defender will take the engines from Jaguar Land Rover, could be diesel or petrol. Besides, there is a good chance that a hybrid version will come later.
