The dimensions of the new SUV are quite generous; it is 4,600 mm long, 2,173 mm tall, and 2,741 mm wide, with a wheelbase 1,724 mm long. The styling is also now sharper, with new LED headlamps and taillamps. The front-grille also has a new design now, as do the alloy wheels, front bumper, and rear bumper.

On the inside too, there are a lot of changes. The centre console now features a new 10.25-inch Touch Pro infotainment system with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The seats are plush and comfy, and the top-trim offers a fully-digital instrument cluster. There is also a power-operated tailgate to elevate the luxury quotient.

For the India-spec model, there are two engine options available: a 2.0-litre inline-4 turbo-petrol (P250) and a 2.0-litre inline-4 turbo-diesel (D180). The former generates 248 PS of peak power and a peak torque of 365 Nm. The latter is good for maximum power and torque figures of 180 PS and 430 Nm. There is only one transmission on offer here, a 7-speed torque-converter automatic. All-wheel-drive comes as standard, as is expected from a rugged Land Rover vehicle.

The SUV is offered in a three-row configuration, and is the only SUV in its segment to do so. There are two trims on offer – ‘S’ and ‘R-Dynamic SE’. Prices have only been announced for the diesel trims, and deliveries will commence soon. The petrol trims are slated to arrive later. The price for the diesel ‘S’ trim is Rs. 57.06 lakh and for diesel ‘R-Dynamic SE’ is Rs. 60.89 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, pan-India).
