2020 Maruti Brezza Petrol Variant Details

The compact-SUV segment is the most happening of all in the Indian market. Almost every manufacturer has one product in this segment, however, it is the Vitara Brezza that has been topping the sales chart since inception. Now, that the Brezza has received a mid-life refresh in the form of a facelift, the car has also been given a new power plant. The Brezza facelift gets its power from a 1.5L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor that belts out 150 PS and 138 Nm as its peak output. With prices starting from Rs. 7.34 lakh for the base-spec LXi variant and topping out at Rs. 11.40 lakh for the top-spec ZXi+ variant, the Brezza now boats of a refreshed feature list for its variants. Here's a brief breakdown of what all features are offered around the various variants.

Starting with the base-spec LXi variant, it is priced at Rs. 7.34 lakh and comes with a lot of features than what is offered in the similar variants of the competition. It comes with halogen projector headlamps with LED DRLs, body-coloured door handles, and mirrors, ORVM mounted turn-indicators, manual AC with heater, 2-din music system with Bluetooth connectivity, dual-front airbags, LED tail lamps, chrome front grille, and ABS with EBD.

The mid-spec VXi variant is the most value-for-money variant of the car and it is priced at Rs. 8.35 lakh for the manual transmission variant and at Rs. 9.75 lakhs with the optional AMT. The VXi variant comes loaded with LED projector headlamps with LED DRL that also doubles up a turn indicator, full wheel cap with 16-inch rims, illuminated glove box and front footwell, automatic climate control, remote keyless entry with push-button start-stop system, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, and black roof rails. These features are available over those offered int eh LXi variant. The AMT version, however, gets the additional convenience of hill-hold assist and gear-position indicator.

2020 Maruti Brezza Petrol Variant Breakdown

The Vitara Brezza facelift misses out on a diesel engine and comes with a 1.5L K-series petrol engine.

The next on the list is the ZXi variant. It is priced at Rs. 9.10 lakhs for the manual transmission, while the AMT equipped version costs Rs. 10.50 lakh. It is offered with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display for the infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple Carplay, 16-inch black-painted alloy wheels, silver-finished skid plates and front and rear, chrome-finished inside door handles, multi-coloured illumination for instrument console, rear washer and wiper, rear parcel tray, 60:40 split second row with centre armrest, sunglass holder, and piano black finish for the AC vents, overall the gizmos available on the VXi variant.

The top-end ZXi+ variant is the most-loaded trim option available with the Brezza facelift. It is priced at Rs. 9.75 lakh for the MT version, while the AMT variant costs Rs. 11.15 lakh. It is also available in dual-tone paint-shade with a premium of Rs.  28,000 and Rs. 25,000 over for the manual and AMT options respectively. Talking of the features, the ZXi+ variant gets LED foglamps, sliding front armrest, reverse parking camera, height-adjustable front seat belts, auto-headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, two tweeters, auto-dimming IRVM, cooled glovebox, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. These features are offered over the standard features of lesser ZXi variant.
