The car gets some aesthetic alterations like a newly-designed grille with U-shaped chrome inserts. The fog lights’ housing has also been redesigned as well. A faux skid plate is also present to give it an SUV-ish appearance. On the high-spec trims, the vehicle is equipped with LED DRLs and a projector headlight. In the meanwhile, low-spec ones come with a traditional headlamp system with no fog lights. The car runs on 15-inch alloy rims on the high-spec variants and steel rims on the low-spec ones. Besides this, the side profile remains the same with a boxy styling to create more space inside the cabin and a roof rail in the high-spec variants. The rear has also witnessed some alterations such as a new bumper with inverted ‘D-shaped’ reflector.

The interior of the car has witnessed no alterations at all. The car continues to be equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity on high-spec variants and no infotainment unit on the entry-level variant. Other considerable changes to the Ignis facelift is that the 1.2-litre gasoline burner which can generate 83 PS against 113 Nm has now been upgraded to be BSVI compliant. The new Ignis is now available with two more new colours: Turquoise Blue and Lucent Orange.
