All-new Hyundai i20 To Enter Indian Market in November

2020 Hyundai i20 is scheduled to launch this November. The new-gen i20 will get exterior and interior updates.

2020 is a hard time for almost every car companies. Despite the general struggle and hardship that the whole industry has suffered, Hyundai is still having a busy year. Since the beginning of 2020, Hyundai Indian has introduced several updated versions of its existing models, like the Aura, new-gen Creta, Verna and Tucson facelift. Towards the end of 2020, Hyundai is planning to launch the new-gen Hyundai i20.

 

While the Hyundai i20 is still selling in good number and managing to stay on top two most popular premium hatchback in the market, it is in needs for changes since it hasn’t given any major updates for years. The next-gen Hyundai i20 will come with an upgraded interior, exterior and powertrain range. It is expected that Hyundai will launch the 2020 Hyundai i20 next month. Before entering the Indian market, the new-gen Hyundai i20 has made its debut in several countries.

According to recent spy shots, the India-spec Hyundai i20 will feature a similar design to the newly-launched version available on the European market. Hyundai also integrates some design cues from the Hyundai Venue to the new-gen premium hatchback. As for the exterior, the new Hyundai i20 looks sharper with almost every design elements revised. On the front end, it will sport a new grille design, new headlights with LED DRLs, refreshed front bumper. To the side profile, it flaunts new alloy wheels, chrome-finished window line and new character lines. The rear end now gets LED taillight and revised bumper.

Hyundai i20 will come with some new features

The interior also sees a major makeover. The new-gen model will offer a bigger information touchscreen with Bluelink connectivity system, automatic climate control, chilled glovebox, wireless charging, new instrument cluster, redesign dashboard and centre console.

The third-gen Hyundai i20 is likely to come with three choices of engines, a 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel unit. With all these new updates, the Hyundai i20 will become more expensive than the outgoing version.
