2020 Skoda Octavia Rear-End Looks Fantastic in the latest Rendering

Based on the leaked image emerged on the Internet last week, a rendering version of the 2020 Skoda Octavia has been created by Shoeb Kalania- an IAB’s digital illustrator, showing a transparent rear-end design of the vehicle.

As per the latest rendering image, the new-gen Skoda Octavia comes featured with a set of L-shaped taillamps inspired by the Skoda Scala sibling. The large block “SKODA” lettering are crafted right between the lights in place of the Skoda logo as used in the China-spec Skoda Kodiaq GT or the Scala. While the robust-looking turn indicators of the car are separated into individual LEDs flashing vividly in a sweeping motion, the company’s iconic C-shaped taillights and fog lights still make their presences in the package. Borrowing the design cue from the mid-size hatch, the all-new Skoda Octavia is visualized with sportier diffuser under the rear bumper.

Slated to be developed on the same MQB platform as the current-gen Octavia, the newcomer will write its own design story as well, with the introduction of a sedan-like profile, a Euro focus estate in combination with a hatchback style.

The ongoing Skoda Octavia is packed with conventional powertrain system, but it comes to the point that the next-gen model will receive the inclusion of a mild hybrid and a plug-in hybrid variant. That said, even the sporty RS trim is said to come along with hybrid technology a bit later. The 2020 Octavia’s engine options encompass a 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo gasoline burner units.
