Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition Launched At INR 34.98 Lakh In India

2020 Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition, the sporty version of the Fortuner, has been launched at a starting price of INR 34.98 lakh.

Ahead of launching the facelift, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched a limited edition version of the current model in order to make the most of the pre-facelift iteration. In terms of the exterior, the Toyota Fortuner TRD gets new features that include bi-beam LED projector headlights with LED DRLs, LED foglights, chrome-plated door handles, black 18-inch alloy rims, dual-tone roof and automatic ORVMs and rear combination lights, etc.

The Toyota Fortuner TRD comes with a wide range of new features in terms of the exterior.

As regards the interior, the SUV gets black and red seat coverings, which is for decoration purposes. Moreover, the car is equipped with a Technology package which includes a head-up display, tyre pressure monitoring system, video recorder, wireless smartphone charger and welcome door lights. The SUV also comes with an ionizer which protects the cabin from microbes and germs. This is the first Toyota car to be equipped with this feature.

As for the specifications, the SUV keeps under its hood the same 2.8-litre 4-cyl motor that powers the regular version It can deliver 177 PS against 450 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed AT with sequential and paddle shifters. Commenting on the launch of Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition, Naveen Soni, Senior Vice President, Sales and Service, TKM, stated-
