This is How the Next Version of the Most Affordable Audi Sedan in India Could Look Like

The next-gen Audi A3 sedan is one of the most-anticipated model launches of Audi’s line-up in India. Various spy shots of the new A3 have cropped up online recently, which have helped our digital illustrator, Shoeb Kalania to render the 2021 Audi A3 to preview how the next version of the cheapest Audi sedan in India could look like.

The India-bound second-gen Audi A3 will get more masculinity on its exterior package. It will feature a more aggressive face with sleeker flat headlamps, a wider Singerframe along with dart-shaped air intakes. The all-new sedan will flaunt a new bonnet sculpted with more crease lines for sharper cosmetic effect.

The 2021 Audi A3 Sedan might get the same green house design on its side profiles but its door panels come with sportier and more convex surfaces. No changes would be made to the traditional roofline either. At the rear, the 2021 Audi A3 Sedan also picks up a bit of sporty appeal with redesigned faux air outlets, new wraparound taillamps and a new bumper.

We expect that the new-gen A3 sedan will inherit the interior of the Sportback version with tweaked design and enhanced features. There will be a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 12.3-inch virtual instrument cluster, integrated Wi-Fi hotspot, Amazon Alexa connectivity, remote lock/unlock via smartphone, wireless charging, etc. are parts of the major interior features.

The new-gen Audi A3 Sedan will be propelled by a 150 HP 1.5-litre TFSI petrol engine along with a 48V mild-hybrid tech. Besides, a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine, 1.6-litre TDI diesel motor an a 2.0-litre TDI diesel unit are expected to come alongside the compact luxury saloon as well.

The 2021 Audi A3 Sedan will go on sale in the international market in late 2020. India will have to wait until next for the new A3 Sedan to hit the showrooms. The upcoming Audi A3 will compete with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine in India.
