Kia has plans to introduce the Nightfall Edition of its flagship full-size SUV, Telluride, by next year. Sadly, the automaker has no plans to launch the car in the Indian market.

Kia Telluride is one of the most successful SUVs offered by the automaker across the globe. This year, the SUV won WCOTY (World Car Of The Year) award. According to recent reports, the automaker has decided to create an all-black special edition of the SUV. Named as the Nightfall Edition Package, this variant was discovered in a Kia order guide and will be available from next year. The carmaker has not revealed any photos of the actual trim till now. However, we know that the feature list is cosmetic and will be offered for just below $1,300.

The upcoming Kia Telluride Nightfall Edition will get a distinctive black grille, an exclusive set of 20-inch alloy wheels and black headlamp bezels. One can also get a lot of gloss black trim for elements like roof rails, skid plates, door trims and much more. In terms of dimensions, the Kia Telluride is 5000 mm long, 1990 mm wide, 1750 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2900 mm. The SUV is significantly bigger than the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. It derives power from a 3.8-litre V6 mill which churns out 291bhp of maximum power at 6000 rpm and 355 Nm of twisting force at 5200 rpm. Transmission duties are done by an 8-speed automatic gearbox paired with an active on-demand all-wheel-drive system.
