2021 Maruti Swift Facelift Available with Massive Discounts, Soon After Launch

Maruti has just launched the facelift version of the Swift in February this year. The facelifted Maruti Swift is now available on sale with a discount of up to Rs 50,000, only two months after its launch.

Earlier this year, Maruti launched the facelift version of the Maruti Swift. The updated fun-to-drive hatchback is introduced at a price ranging from Rs 5.73 lakh to Rs 8.41 lakh. Although, the 2021 Swift facelift has just been launched in the country, Maruti is offering some attractive discounts on this model this month.

Maruti Swift is on sale at the price range starting from Rs 5.73 lakh

This month, the buyers of the Maruti Swift are provided with a discount of up to Rs 50,000, including a cash discount and exchange bonus. Accordingly, the base variant of the Swift is sold with a cash discount of Rs 30,000 plus an exchange bonus of 20,000. However, the discount scheme for higher variants including VXi+, VXi+ and ZXI is different. These trims will get a cash discount of Rs 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. Thanks to these discounts, the prices of the Maruti Swift is somewhat on par with the pre-facelift prices.

About the new Maruti Swift, this model was launched with some subtle styling updates and mechanical changes. On the front end, the Swift features a new mesh pattern and chrome inserts for the grille, which distinguish it from the pre-facelift version. On the inside, there are a few new features, for example, the updated Smartplay Studio infotainment system, a new TFT MID, cruise control and idle start-stop technology. In addition, on the safety front, the facelifted Swift now comes with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with hill hold assist, beside the standard fitments like ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mount, reverse parking sensors, and driver and front passenger seatbelt reminder.

This month, Maruti Swift is available with price discounts of up to Rs 50,000 

Under the hood, the old 1.2-litre K Series motor is updated with DualJet Dual VVT technology. This engine is paired with Idle Start-Stop technology, allowing the power output to go up to 90 PS. Owing to these updates, the fuel mileage of the petrol engine also increases significantly. The facelift Maruti Swift is claimed to offer a fuel mileage of 23.20 kmpl and 23.76 kmpl for the manual and automatic gearbox, respectively.
