2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Facelift Spied Ahead Of Its Official Launch

The upcoming Land Cruiser 200 facelift has been recently spied standing at a Japanese port. The new model carries subtle cosmetic updates along with some added features.

Toyota Land Cruiser is its carmaker’s flagship SUV. It is one of the most popular and reputed products offered by automaker globally. In the world of SUVs, Land Cruiser is known as the SUV that can take on any terrain you throw at it. The car is now all set to get a styling update as seen in the pictures leaked recently. The Land Cruiser 200 spied recently is expected to be a part of a batch which is scheduled to be shipped to one of the Gulf countries. The new spy images reveal a few updates that the new model will likely carry. Also, it may be noted that the carmaker has plans to launch the new-gen Land Cruiser by the end of next year or early 2022.

The new model is rumoured to be called as 'Final Edition'

The ongoing Toyota Land Cruiser has been on sale for more than a decade now. Nevertheless, the carmaker is giving regular updates to the SUV as per the market requirements. The spy pictures seen here are expected to have been taken at the Japanese port, where the upcoming SUV is being readied to be shipped to the foreign markets. Talking about the updates, outside, the new model will feature more chrome on the front grille, revised headlamp cluster along with redesigned bumper on both the ends. Moreover, the upcoming SUV will also get a new set of sporty looking alloy wheels. The new Land Cruiser looks fresher and more premium compared to the outgoing model.

The cabin details of the SUV are not available yet but the SUV is expected to feature the latest connectivity options, a larger touchscreen infotainment system and an updated navigation system. Other updated features expected to be offered with the new Land Cruiser 200 are Safety Sense Package, Vehicle, Stability Control, wireless charging, Crawl Control, Hill Hold Assist, Hill Descent Control and much more. Mechanically, the upcoming SUV is expected to be powered by a new power plant. The ongoing model is powered by a 5.7-litre DOHC 32-Valve V8 motor, which churns out 304 PS of maximum power and 440 Nm of peak torque.
