In terms of features, the 2020 Verna facelift is better kitted-out than both its archi rivals - Honda City and Maruti Ciaz

Digital instrument cluster - The new 2020 Hyundai Verna will employ a fully digital instrument cluster. The same unit is expected to be offered with new-gen i20. The new instrument cluster will display all the relevant information related to the vehicle like speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, range, service indicator and much more.

BlueLink Connected Car Technology - Like Kia, MG and Tata, Hyundai will also offer connected car technology. None of these carmakers is offering a sedan in this segment, which means 2020 Hyundai Verna is the first car in its segment to features connected car technology. Turbo-petrol Engine With DCT - Hyundai Verna is also a step ahead in its segment if we talk about the mechanical specs. Expect the regular 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine, the sedan will also derive power from a more potent 1.0-litre, turbo-petrol unit, which puts out 120bhp and 172 Nm of torque. The transmission duties will be done by a 7-speed DCT.

Diesel Engine - Carmaker’s like Maruti Suzuki, VW and Skoda has discontinued their diesel engine options. Moreover, Honda has not updated its ongoing City as per the BS6 norms. This means Hyundai Verna is the only car in its segment to derive power from a BS6 complaint oil-burner. The 1.5-litre diesel motor puts out power and torque outputs of 115bhp and 250 Nm.
