Kia Motors is ready to introduce the first products into the Indian auto market ahead of schedule, from July – August 2019 to April 2019.

One of the main factors contributing to these early debuts is that Kia’s car plants are being constructed more quickly than expected. Actually, Kia has completed the construction of the plants in Andhra Pradesh and Anantapur. All of these contribute to Kia’s trial production being started in early 2019. By that time, it is expected that its suppliers can issue the orders for its very first product next year the Creta-based SP Concept SUV.

Another model, named Trazor may be launched by late April 2019. Kia will open its bookings by the end of March with deliveries due by May 2019, which means that Kia has to accelerate the completion of its dealership network in India. Kia’s dealers in India has been informed of the early debut plan. Kia is also intending to expand the sale network to 85-90% of the total dealers in the country once their market opens.

Kia Motors is also expecting to launch two new vehicles, a compact sedan and an exceptional hatchback. The Indian auto market is also being analyzed to be ready for the launch of Kia’s large Carnival MPV. Two other products planned to be introduced to the India auto market is a sub-compact SUV and a small SUV model.

With the plant’s construction completed earlier than expected, Kia Motors plans to launch their vehicles ahead of plan. These new cars can probably directly compete against the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Tata Nexon.
