Audi India is planning to increase the prices of all six models in its line-up. The price hike will be even applicable on the recently launched Q2

This month, Audi India has announced new price schemes for 6 vehicles across its range. The price increments of Audi cars can go up to 2 per cent compared to the previous ex-showroom price. According to some reports, Audi introduces a price hike due to the currency fluctuations and an increased cost for manufacturing.

However, the new price will not go in to effect in this festive season. The new price will be available from the beginning of January. Customers can still buy the Audi cars at the same price range until the end of this month. It is common for carmakers to increase the prices of their vehicles in the first month of the year. However, Audi’s advanced announcement will better inform the car buyers and let them utilize the last chance to purchase their interested models before the price hikes take place.

Talking about the latest price announcement, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said,

“At Audi India, we strive to give our customers the best, but the rising inputs costs and currency fluctuations have put a strain on our cost structures and we are forced to make amends to prices. Starting January 01, 2021, our model range will see a price revision of up to 2%.”

It is a known fact that price increments are necessary for the car industry to attain sustainable growth. It is a priority for car manufacturers to limit the market change’s impact on pricing. While the price update is unavoidable, Audi has come up with a new service package that could give car buyers peace of mind.

Recently Audi has launched the Audi Q2 which comes along with a “Peace of Mind” package. This package includes a 5 Year Service Package with 2+3 Year Extended Warranty along with 2+3 Road Side Assistance.

During the festive season, Audi will offer a Celebration Program. This program will be available in several vehicles across the range. Under this program, the buyers can enjoy a lower rate of interest or five-year “peace of mind” package. However, the special treat is limited and customers will have to file enquiries at dealerships to find what benefits are available for them.
