All-new Hyundai Santro Receives Its First Official Discount Offer

Since its launch, the Hyundai Santro has received a great response from the customers. It has recently received its first discount offer

Along with Suzuki Jimny and Kia Soul, the next-gen Hyundai Santro has currently appointed for "World Urban Car of the year" in the 2019 World Car Awards. This is also a great honour for the hatchback from Hyundai when being the first India-produced-car car to take on the award. In a bid to praise the performance, Hyundai has recently announced an official offer for the premium hatchback which is a three-gram gold coin.

Having been first introduced on October 23rd, the Santro has registered a number of 8,535 sales unit in the similar month which is definitely a surprising figure. The care has been played an important role in the Hyundai car pipeline as it attains 5 percent YoY sales growth with the price ranging from Rs. 3.89 lakh to Rs. 5.64 lakh (ex-showroom). 

In terms of sales, in November 2018, the Santro has registered over 9,000 unit mark. In total, 6,875 units of Hyundai Santro were retailed. As per report from Hyundai, the newly launched Hyundai Santro marked 7,500 units monthly.

The hatchback is ranging from different choices of paint schemes including 

Stardust Grey

  • Polar white

  • Fiery red

  • Diana Green

  • Imperial beige

  • Typhoon Silver 

  • Marina Blue

There are up to seven color options on offer

As for the features, the Santro is well-equipped with some segment first features including

  • Reverse parking camera 

  • High strength steel 

  • Rear air conditioning vents

The Santro is a feature-rich hatchback

When it comes to the powertrain, the engine of the Santro is derived from a 1.1-litre petrol engine with four-cylinders. The motor can generate a maximum power output of 69 PS with 99 Nm torque. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. There is also another option available which is a five-speed Smart Auto AMT with ARAI fuel economy rated 20.3 kmpl. The CNG option churning out 59 PS and 84 Nm is reported to return 30.5 km/kg.

Hyundai Santro will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Renault Kwid.
