Amitabh Bachchan To Give His Voice To Google Maps

Amitabh Bachchan is among the most senior actors of the Indian Bollywood industry is known for his great acting skills around the world. Mr Bachchan has also been a part of some big Hollywood movies. According to a recent media report, the actor is said to have been approached by Google to be the voice of its navigation application. Moreover, the report also states that Mr Amitabh Bachchan is in talks with Google, but is yet to sign a contract.

Google has offered him big amount for this project. If Mr Bachchan signs contract with Google then he will likely to record his voice from home. Right now, the voice you hear while using Google Maps is of the New York-based entertainer named as Karen Jacobsen.

The media source tells "Amitabh Bachchan has the most influential and recognisable baritone. Hence, he is the best choice for the voice of Google Maps. He has been approached, but the contract has not been signed yet."

Moreover, this is not the first time that a Bollywood actor has given his voice to Google Maps. Back in 2018, Yash Raj Films and Google partnered to use Aamir Khan’s character Firangi from Thugs of Hindustan for the navigation application. But, this feature was on Google Maps for a limited period of time, the main purpose of Yash Raj Films is to promote their new movie. We are still waiting for Mr Bachchan to comment on this. Furthermore, the actor is also quite fanatic about exotic cars. He owns cars like Land Cruiser LC200, Land Rover Range Rover, Rolls Royce Phantom, Bentley Continental GT, Mercedes S500, Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG, Porsche Cayman S, Mini Cooper, Audi A8L and Toyota Camry.
