Aston Martin Schedules Launching Seven Models In Next Seven Years in India

Aston Martin has recently revealed their future plan to introduce seven models within 7 years in the future for India market.

Aston Martin has recently scheduled on launching up to seven cars models just in the next seven years in the Indian market, in which the DBS Superleggera, Lagonda and DBX are included.

Commenting about this plan, Nancy Chen, the Head of Sales Operations for Aston Martin in South and Southeast Asia has reported to the media,

“We see India as a very important market with great potential and that is why we are emphasizing a lot on this market. We are doing a lot of study in emerging markets so that we can increase our presence here.”

The Indian market has been considered as an emerging market opening gold opportunities for auto market share. To meet this robust demand, the British carmaker looks to introduce the new car models in the Indian market.

The British carmaker looks to produce more new car models in the Indian market

Apart from the comments on the market opportunity in India, Nancy Chen also stated about the plan to produce more car models in the “Second Century Plan”, according to a press release recently,

"The Second Century Plan will see the launch of seven new cars - DB11, Vantage, DBS Superleggera, DBX (SUV), a mid-engine supercar and two fully electric Lagondas, which will be the first, zero emission luxury sedan and SUV." 

She added

“India is very important to us. We will introduce all of these seven models in the country. We will be bringing certain models here even before their global launch. That is how serious we are about the Indian market.”

In an effort to provide their customers with a richer experience, Aston Martin will strengthen their after-sales services. Apart from the three existing service centres in India, which are in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai, Aston will invest to open more touch-points in the phase of 2019-2020.

Currently, Aston Martin has also drawn the auto fans’ attention with the new Aston Martin Vantage debut in Mumbai which took place last month. The car is underpinned by the DB10 platform from a James Bond movie, named Spectre. This new Vantage positions at Rs 2.86 crore in ex-showroom, Delhi. This model is claimed to be delivered to India next month.
