A hyper performance engine which could reach 1,000bhp is created by Aston Martin, the famous British automaker.

Aston Martin will deliver the new V12 engine that runs over the 11,000rpm mark and unleash a surge of over 1,000bhp. And the high-performance engine will come with a sky-high price tag.

The V12 is the work done under the partnership between Martin and Cosworth, setting a new benchmark for a naturally aspirated engine. Cosworth has a handful of expertise in making the optimal engines for race cars, which has been proved by various high-performance internal combustion.

Besides the incredible peak power of over 1,000bhp, the peak torque that the V12 could reach is 740Nm at 7,000rpm. These whopping figures are delivered by the petrol engine alone, and when the hybrid system kicks in, it could even stretch to a higher number. But the details of this hybrid system will be out later.

The material is among the secret to the hyper-performance engine. The use of materials will mean a lot to the weight of the system. A heavy material does increase the mass of the engine, thus reducing the performance. To get things right for the best output, most of the engine’s internal parts, apart from blocks, cylinder heads, sump and cam covers, are made from solid materials, including Titanium conrods and F1TM pistons.

To even further the performance of the engine, the machine process also takes a huge responsibility. Aston Martin guarantees a highly refined process of machining the engine, ensuring highly-consistent components with minimal mass and greater strength. All these efforts contribute to the surprising total weight of 210kg out of a 6.5-litre engine. For your information, if you scale up the 3.0-litre V10 F1TM engine of Cosworth to 6.5-litre capacity, it would weight at exact 210kg.
