Audi e-Tron Electric SUV To Debut In 17 September and 1000$ deposit for pre-order

After much delay, Audi has confirmed that the Audi e-Tron Electric SUV would finally have its official debut on September 17 in San Francisco, and the pre-order is also on the same day.

Last month, Audi was forced to delay the reveal event for its new e-tron SUV after the company’s CEO, Rupert Stadler, was arrested. Suffering from that time, Audi didn’t give a new date for the event. Today, Audi finally delivered a new event date and location and revealing the time for the reservations.

On this 17 September, the model of the Audi e-tron will get its global debut, with the final design, spec and pricing at a dedicated event in San Francisco. Audi’s fan in the US will be able to pre-order on the same day launching. Customers will be able to reserve the e-tron with a $1000 deposit, which allows buyers to track the progress of the production online. It is refundable in the event in case you change your mind later on down the road. It is expected to be true for other regions around the world as well.

Scott Keogh, President, Audi America said

"We're introducing a premium, customer-centric vehicle in a premium, customer-centric way. With our owners and our dealers, this process allows us to offer transparency from the reservation and build all the way through delivery."

The Audi e-tron electric SUV is claimed to fill up on electricity at fast-charging stations with up to 150 kW charging capacity. Within under 30 minutes, the SUV is ready for the run. The electrical Quattro makes the e-tron a four-wheel drive car and the sporty SUV will complete test drives on four continents. The fully electric e-tron is a five-passenger SUV aimed at the heart of the premium market with its progressive design, advanced electric and digital technology.

Audi’s e-tron will be available in dealers during the early part of 2019. It will be the first of three battery-electric vehicles that Audi plans to debut by 2020, with nearly 30 per cent of its customers in the U.S. anticipated to go electric by 2025.
