Audi India Extends Validity Of Service Packages And Extended Warranty

The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the Indian automobile industry on a large scale, but the carmakers are still trying their best to offer assistance to its customers in every possible way. Audi India is among those auto manufacturers who have decided to extend the warranty and service plans for its existing customers in India. Wit this, all Audi customers whose extended warranty or service pack is getting expired between the lockdown period (15th March-15th April 2020), can benefit from the cover for some days even after the lockdown is lifted. This new initiative by the carmaker is a part of Audi India’s main pillar of focus which is customer-centricity.

Talking about the extended warranty claims, a customer is allowed to claim in case of any failure till the limit of their existing extended warranty. With this announcement made by Audi, the warranty period has been extended by a month or 3,000 km. Moreover, in terms of service plans, a customer can get an extended service plan of 30 days/3000 km. This service plan is for those cars whose expiry date is falling between the lockdown periods.

Speaking on this development, Mr Balbir Dhillon, Audi India Head, said, “We are facing unprecedented times; during moments like these, the last thing that our customers should be worried about is the service of their cars. Customers are at the core of our business and everything we do, we do it for them. In line with this strategy – we are offering a new Extended Warranty and service packages for customers who can now continue to reap benefits of being part of the Audi family. Our teams are geared to extend all the necessary support in addition to making sure that their service and warranty packages are extended. We would like to urge all our customers to stay home and stay safe.”
