The upcoming 7-seat Hyundai Creta has been spotted once again. The all-new SUV has once again been spotted in South Korea and the latest spy pic gives us a good idea of the dimensions of the new model. From the looks of it, the upcoming three-row SUV will be significantly longer than the 5-seat version, which is 4,300 mm long. Moreover, the all-new SUV looks a bit taller, too, as it gets a different set of roof rails. The 5-seat model is 1,635 mm tall and it employs flush roof rails.

The all-new 7-seat Hyundai Creta will feature an updated front look. The SUV will likely get a massive chrome mesh grille. The new grille will also help the car look even closer to the carmaker’s flagship SUV, the Hyundai Palisade. Many of you may have already observed that the new-gen Creta looks like a mini Palisade. Meanwhile, the addition of different roof rails, side sill garnish, rear quarter glass and longer body will distinguish the all-new 7-seat Creta from its 5-seat sibling. Furthermore, the rear profile of the car will get a new tailgate and an updated set of taillights. The upcoming 7-seat Creta will have the same wheelbase as the 2,620 mm Kia Seltos offered in China and South Korea. The wheelbase of the 5-seater model is 2,600 mm.

Mechanically, the SUV will derive power from the same set of engines as the current version. The engine options for the India-spec second-gen Hyundai Creta include- 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel and 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol. The two 1.5-litre engines produce 115 PS of maximum power each, while the turbo-petrol unit offers 140 PS. The top-spec petrol engine comes mated to a 7-speed DCT with paddle-shifters, while the 1.5-litre units come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. Additionally, the base petrol mill is optionally available with a CVT, while the buyers of the diesel motor can opt for a 6-speed torque-converter automatic unit.
